To whoever is reading this;

Live from Southwest Missouri it's.......ANOTHER new member! Hello to anyone who might be looking at this introduction. My name is Kevin and I live in the Ozarks. Yep. That's where I'm a livin'. Hot and humid summers, not too bad during winter. Quite a few scenic roads/rides, many snakes.. um, lakes. Yeah. that's what I meant. Tarantulas and armadillos, too! I like bikes. I patiently waited for quite sometime to get ahold of a first gen R1200RT and finally did a couple of months ago. (actualy it's one that I have been trying to buy from an old gentleman a few miles away who finally sold it to me) There's a little more info about me located in my profile. Now, where did I put my cup of coffee.....

Cheers!

Kevin

PS; I have a lifelong passion for bikes, and do not like horses. Nor would I own one!

Welcome aboard. Lucky to be living in the ozarks. My favorite place to ride, although I mostly ride in Arkansas. Perhaps, I will get a chance to look you up and meet face to face next spring.

Hola, "Live from Southwest Missouri!"

Hope your new[ish] Beemer is to your liking. As of Thanksgiving 2022, guess you missed the nearby International MOA Rally in Springfield MO last June! :doh

Therefore, now’s the time to be planning your First MOA International Rally in Doswell, VA {at the VA state fairgrounds} in June of 2023. :brow https://bmwmoaf.regfox.com/the50th

Hope ya find some buds to ride with in the Ozarks; we enjoyed the Falling Leaf Rally in 10/20 on our North American eXplorations (after covid)... We encountered many murals in the Cuba, MO community.

Be safe and be seen on your new Motorrad Machine, Kev. A new set of fore & aft LEDs just might save your bacon; some professional M/C coaching never hurts neither! There’s lots to choose from when your new MOA Owners’ News subscription arrives... https://issuu.com/bmwmoa/docs/bmwon_2022-11

You have no shortage of good roads to ride! We took HWY 160 from West Plains to stay the night in Branson this year on our way to Colorado. Nice twisty smooth road but probably lots more like it up there.

Welcome Kevin! Hope you enjoy your stay and your bike. As a fellow RT owner, I'm hoping you will post some pics so I can tell you what a lovely bike you have.
