Have we ever considered adding the vBulletin Like function here?

Feels like this place hasn't been updated since we installed it 19 years ago. It might help drive some engagement here.

I have heard a rumor of a move to Xenforo, but that was over a year ago. As you know very well, this is a far superior platform.

The wheels turn slowly....

xenforo is pretty terrific from the user end. I haven't had a hand in the admin of it, though.

The Like thing is actually a great way to get people to return to the threads they contribute to and can drive views and usage.

From the April 2022 BoD Meeting Minutes:

" 10. Ian highlights the forum, while a small group, and how news and information continues to
be posted to the magazine and social media, but the forum doesn’t seem to be on the list of
places where news will be posted. Can the forum go back to being a focus for the MOA’s
staff?
a. Reece mentioned his love for the forum and shared good news that the forum will
be replaced with a new software (Xenforo) which makes it easier to use and it’ll be
easier to upload photos, post bulletins/stickies and members will gain features like a
like button. This will be rolled out in the next few weeks "

Good, I guess. Glad to see that getting figured out. Props to the forum team for moving this forward.
