Reconditioning switchgear

Does anyone know a way to recondition the appearance of switchgear? They function fine but they are worn/faded to the point where they can’t be read

At most auto parts stores, check out the line of plastic and vinyl restoration/cleaning products.
A couple of the "goodies" are Mothers Back-to-Black and 303 Products Protectant.
Maybe an extra-fine point black Sharpie to re-inscribe the lettering?

I use fingernail polish for accenting embedded lines that have faded……sometimes a touch-up paint pen. It depends on how deeply pressed in, need to be highlighted, the markings are.

I can attest to the effectiveness of these products.
