I need some help to continue my riding career.

A little over a year ago I had a back injury which left me with severe weakness in my left foot. I can no longer lift my foot up in the motion required to upshift. I am looking for a solution so that I can continue riding. I think that a heel/toe shifter might be a good solution. Has anyone on the forums had any experience with obtaining one or building one, or any ideas that may help me continue to ride.

Thanks in advance for any helpful insights.
