If it's out there I can't find it

    Hi
Trying to find the build date on the R100RS I just bought. (1978)
I've spent 2 days looking and come up with zilch.
    Anybody have any ideas?
    Thanks

Visit the RealOEM website. Enter the 7-digit VIN in the box at the top of the search page. At the bottom of the screen/tables, it will give you the build date of the bike. Alternatively, you can go to this page:

    http://www.bmbikes.co.uk/enginechassis.htm

and find the table for you bike.

There are other sites located in the link in my signature line.
