Hi, Just got a 92 R100R and loving it. It's been a while since I have owned a Beemer. Since 1979 I have owned a R600/5, R100/7, R65LS, R100S, R1100RS and a R1100C. The airheads are by far the most enjoyable to ride and my latest one, the R100R is the best of the best. Looking forward to many many more miles and smiles4.jpg

Welcome Back Mr Duck! :nod

Looks like you’ve acquired a nice vintage Beemer; hope ya can put some miles on it this year and into the future. As a matter of fact, I spent four years at Myrtle Beach AFB. I was a young A-7 WCS technician when I bought my 1975 R90S and then headed down to Daytona Beach for my first visit to that facility in ‘76. And unlike so many other BMW owners, it’s still being ridden here with the North Alabama Vintage Motorcycle Club {FB: NAVMC}... :thumb

Hope you’ll make the drive up to Doswell, VA next June for the 50th MOA International Rally. :1drink

Happy Trails whenever U can - Ciao!

Lovely! I'm MBHS '74 but never threw a leg over a bike until I was 52.
