I’ve had the XR for about 5k miles and have a question about some noise coming from the back end of the bike. The sound is a rattle and initially I thought it was the luggage rack so proceeded to securing everything I could find but the problem persists. It’s most noticeable on slower bumpy roads, so think 30 mph and Midwest side roads. To be honest, I think it may be the chain hitting the guard on the topside in front of the sprocket. The chain appears to be in tolerance and has been serviced at the dealer a couple times. Anyone else notice this phenomenon ?
