    R-1100R PM question

Do the front wheel bearings need to be relubed ever? 32,500 miles.

What about the steering head and the paralever ball joint?

    Thanks

    NO and NO.

To clarify this, you do NOT lubricate the front bearings, ever. They are sealed bearings. There 'used' to be a replacement schedule of 40,000 miles but this has been changed to an annual 'check' and replace if needed.

Just keep the pressure washer away from any bearings. Once water gets squirted by the seals, the party will soon be over.

As long as the sealed ball bearings roll smoothly without any noises or freeplay, they don't need to be replaced.
