I'm curious where everyone is these days on this service.

Seems like skipping the service bulletin and doing the spline inspection and lube, and perhaps drive shaft replacement on our own and then performing regular maintenance every 12k is an acceptable approach. If I lived near San Jose, I trusted that dealer a lot so I'd have no problem going to them. But here in Vegas, I don't get the same warm feeling...
