Need some assistance from anyone in the San Antonio, TX area. I ride a 22 1600 GTL (Idaho) and I'm trying to get my brother (65) in SA, TX into a 23 R 1250 RT. He owns a 08 CVO Ultra HD, but I'm driving him to a lighter BMW, like the RT. Alamo BMW has no inventory of RT's new or used. Neither do any of the dealers in Texas. He needs to ride a RT to determine if he likes the ride, it's a hard change for a OLD HD rider. So, does anyone know of a rental company that he could rent a RT and test the waters? It's a touring bike he wants, not a 1600 or 1800.

Welcome to the forum! Did Alamo BMW offer any ideas on where he could rent an RT? I don't know of many rental places around here, but I'm not necessarily plugged into that. Maybe there's opportunities in Austin.

Alamo was getting ready to sell... I got a.used 2022 1250rt from them. Not impressed with new owners! They are getting a ton of the police versions in.

Check out Eagle Rider's website. There are a few locations (but not many) that have BMWs available to rent.
