Wearing a helmet and getting vaccinated are like wearing your seatbelt…. Won’t prevent injuries but sure help reduce injuries

I don't recall any public health authority ever claiming that vaccination absolutely prevents COVID. It's alway been about improving health outcomes when infected and reducing viral load which somewhat lessens transmissibility.

I do recall a moderator politely asking that we not go into the covid issue. It will end badly. I doubt anyone posting is an expert in virology or any of the science related to the pandemic. If we have members who are so qualified, then I suspect they are too smart to engage in a forum like this. We all have opinions and sources we trust. Good for us, but keep it to yourself, because no one here gives a crap.

:thumb Wise words we should all heed.

A sad commentary on the extent to which society has polarised to the point of intolerance of differing views. Does not bode well. Democracy requires free discourse.
