2022 MOA Rally Attendance numbers?

Did Ted or Reece announce the attendance at this year's sweat-fest? Seemed like a nice size, but was wondering what the actual headcount was.

Wow, that is low for that part of the country, not?

I couldn't make it this year due to family commitments but with the price of gas and the unbearable heat going on right now I'm ok with missing it. I suspect the economy in general is playing a part in this also.

I hope the attendees had a great time. :thumb

I think it is about right for the "central" region. See recents:

2017 – Salt Lake City, UTAH (fair grounds) -- 4206
2018 – Des Moines, IOWA (fair grounds) -- 4580
2019 – Lebanon, TENNESSEE (exposition center) -- 6018
2021 – Great Falls, MONTANA (expo park) -- 4889

I would expect a higher number next year in the east.

Thanks Paul! We swore it was higher than that.

I felt it was a great location, nice facility and everyone spread out well.

It was so insanely hot, I felt that we would have seen people ready to go at home and look at the weather and just not show up. I don't know what the bought tickets and didn't show up percentages are but it was at the limit of where I'd be comfortable camping. Very hot at night. Great job to all of the volunteers and BMW Performance Center coaches for all of their work. The Louise Powers picking up a GS challenge went seemingly all day every day despite the heat.

I thought June would be cooler :)

I went to KS and OK early Saturday morning and by the time I was getting back around 1130, I saw quite a few packed up BMWs going the opposite way. So I guess some do/did leave early. I thought about it with the heat, but glad I stuck to my original plan. The weather yesterday and today was awesome. I stopped in KY for rhe night and they had record cold. I had to put on the warming liner!

Unfortunately due to the heat and suffering heat exhaustion on the way up Thursday(even with a cooling vest) i was only able to spend about four hours out there. The heat may have put some people off from attending. I noticed some of the people camping looked miserable. I left at 0330 Sunday morning in order to ride the 400 miles in the cool of the morning.
