Hey everyone,

New MOA member and BMW owner.

I've been riding for about 35 years now. In the beginning it was Japanese bikes, mostly Kawasaki. They were cheap and I could buy broken ones and wrench on them myself. At one point I even managed to find a 1982 750 LTD that had not even reached the break-in mileage.

I purchased a Kawasaki Concours, new, in 2000 and started touring, then a 2008 Concours 14 (which was a fantastic bike), then a 2015 HD Road Glide (another fantastic bike but in an entirely different way). I thoroughly enjoyed the HD but always missed the performance (and ride) of the C14.

Two days ago, I brought home a 2022 R1250RT.

I'm looking forward to contributing to the forum, attending a few rallies, and meeting some of the members.

Hit me up if you're ever travelling through western Nebraska and need info about food, camping, POI, or anything else.

Scott
