As much as i enjoy time pouring over the manual and parts fiche, Im thinking my time would be better spent riding the bike. With what the oilhead is worth today, I am looking for a good quality shop that knows these bikes preferably at independent rates rather than dealership rates. anyone have any recommendations? currently thinking of getting something new but my r1100rt is still a pretty nice machine.

I don't know where in Maryland you are but Anton Largiader in Charlottsville, VA would be my recommendation.
