Boots- It's time to replace my 10+ year old Sidi Canyons.

I thought Paul meant he started seeing ads in other places after talking about boots and heated gear here.

That is correct. No ads on the forum. I often see ads when looking at CNN or CBS or Channel 9, etc, targeted after I have done a search. But in this case I posted about my boots and about heated gear ONLY on the Forum - no searches involved - and then started getting boot and Gerbing ads.

Most likely this is a function of what is contained in the forum “cookie”. I don’t use Facebook yet I can see it’s “shadow” after a trip to the forum. Embedded links, a look at a YouTube video, a “hot-linked” image can create these “shadows” in the (your) browser history and it down the ad path you go.
As long as the ads are not appearing on the forum- :thumb

Had the old BMW gravel boots for many years and miles and they were great, and very waterproof.
I recently picked up the new ones but haven't been through water yet.
