Need Advice About Brake Shoes

So I ordered new rear brake shoes for my 1988 R100 RT from Euro Motorelectrics (EME). I've had good results with the parts before. The brake shoes are manufactured by Ferodo. The portion of the brake shoes that pivot at the top is very rough. The BMW brake shoes are more machined. See photo below. My thought is that this would cause excessive wear at the pivot point. What do other people think? At this point I'm wondering if I should send them back, file the pivot point smooth, or use them as is.

I'd hesitate to use the aftermarket shoes...maybe ask EME about it. That said, how much are the shoes going to rotate with each brake application? Maybe a good coating of sticky grease that is checked at each tire change might suffice. YMMV.
 
I bought the same set for my R90s, replacing the original shoes.

I just cleaned up the rotating surface with some sandpaper. The bigger issue was the height of the mounting points, not receding into the pivot pin correctly. I had to dress it down with a flat file. It wasn't a big deal to clean them up, IMHO and the new shoes feel pretty good with about 100 miles on them.
 
I took RPGR90s advice and cleaned up the surface. I used a round file to, then some scotch bright pads to smooth them out, and then a little be of grease. The shoes are not going to pivot that much. Things seem good after a short ride.

P.S. I would avoid them in the future. There should be no need to clean up the pads like this before installation. Next time, I may try the pads at Boxer2Valve. They are a different aftermarket brand.
