I have a 2003 F650cs that has been sitting for at least 2 years without being ridden. Among other problems, the instrument cluster is not working, speedo,tach, odo .You know what they say "it was working when I parked it". From what little research that I've done so far, these instrument clusters seem to be somewhat problematic. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem, and had any luck repairing them, short of buying a new one. Thanks for any help.

F650cs Instrument Cluster

Looks like the fuse box is under seat and there is a 7.5 amp fuse that drives the instrument panel, power accessory outlet and turn signals. Would check that first. page 45.

I haven't used this forum much, so I hope this reply arrives in tact ...
I have a F650cs Wiring Diagram that I scanned from the Haynes Manual, everything on an 11x17" '
It also in color. It has some color codings for ground and voltages to mention a few.
Also, the Rider's manual you attached is fantastic ! I bought my 05 F650CS in 2018. It didn't come with the Rider's Manual. I wasn't able to even find one of the BMW Motorad section ... It was killing me not be able to learn the basics of operation without a simple user manual.
Finally, I bought one on Ebay. It was an early 2001 version, which was worn and had been in water at one time for another. I took the manual apart and scanned each page and build a PDF file out of it. It's NOT as clear not as yours, so, with your permission, could I download a copy to my computer ?
IF you like I can upload the Haynes drawing ....
