Marking a Marketplace Ad Sold

Unless one of the members has experience with the Marketplace, the best thing would be to call the office. The forum and Marketplace are two different platforms. The FAQs you're referring to are located in the Marketplace which is different.
Reading the Marketplace FAQs, I see nothing about marking something as being SOLD. What I see in the FAQs is that you can stop an ad from running. Alternatively, can you edit the title of your ad and include the word SOLD? In the end, the office can help out.

I wouldn't think it would make a difference. I tried doing what Lee said on my laptop (Windows) and my smartphone (Android). Worked in either case.
Just be sure that you are logged into the Marketplace...it's separate from the forum although IIRC the login credentials are the same as the forum.

Did you go to Manage My Account after My Account?

No being signed in may be the problem.
When I went to the Fleamarket on my tablet I was not signed in.
