I can't seem to access the schedule or seminar listing. I click on those icons and get a frowny face with a 'reset connection' note. Is it just me? I won't take it personally.

I signed up each day for something different. If I'm not up to the task & get fired I won't miss the pay & I'll find something else to do.

Trust me you won't get fired and there really is no specific skills needed for any of the volunteer efforts. They are happy to have the extra set of hands !!

Log in to buy Kings Dominon tickets??

I'm trying to access the discount tickets for Kings Dominion and the link asks for a log in. I don't have one, and there's no way to register. What gives?

Is there anyway to get the preplanned rides in a GPX format so we can use our own navigation software? The barcodes that are on the flyer require one to install an ap to use the maps.

If you go to the Rally website, scroll down and you will find the rides, there you can download in .gpx format.

And instead of of over-thinking where to volunteer, when you find yourself not having much to do, just go to the Volunteers both and ask where they need a warm body.

    Newbie camping questions

Hi. Considering solo camping at 50th rally and wondering how it works. Ive done a bunch of Harley rallies but never an MOA rally. Can we park our bikes at the camp site? If not, where do bikes go? Are camp some sites rowdy? What should a newbie know? Thanks

^^ The BEST question of the Rally. Only if you consider snoring “rowdy!”

Welcome to your first rally. Be sure to stop by the Ambassador booth and pick up some extra swag for your first time. We’ve designed a new pin this year for first rallies and it will be somewhat commemorative for you. Also make plans to visit the First Timers Happy Hour sponsored by Morton’s BMW. Some good swag and door prizes at that event!

The basic answer is you can tent camp anywhere that isn’t marked “No Camping” or reserved for some other purpose. In most cases, it will be fairly obvious where to pitch a tent, but the rally map online and in the program will show you the camping areas. It’s always helpful to ask anyone setup near by if you are “good.” This is a good way to make new friends, too.

Your bike is allowed at your tent site or reasonably close. (Sometimes parking the bike on the pavement is smart and helps save grass space for tents.

We typically don’t have a “loud camping” or “quiet camping” area. I expect the Overland Camping Area with the bonfire and the ADV camping area may be a little rowdier than some, but not by much. The area designated as Chartered Club Camping also tends to stay up a little later than others. Generally, I would tell you the camping is fairly quiet. (Someone will prove me wrong this year by doing burnouts in the bathroom ala Road Atlanta!)

If you need any help on site, please ask. You will see a lot of volunteer shirts, people in golf carts and/or with radios. Ask anyone of us to help. We’re there to make sure you have a good time!

    GREAT response Ted!

Definitely related to "rowdy snoring"; the NWS 10 day Weather Forecast just released through Sunday's rally departure.

And it looks gooood... There will be nice sleeping temp's with significant snoring conditions!

    Basically ALL of Rally Week in Doswell: Low 58 & High 81 degrees. A pop-up shower/thunderstorm a few afternoon's.

Don't forget the "randomly aggressive farting" in the morning!
