Not much of a ride report per se, but some scenery pics. Finally got around to taking the KS over nearby Kenosha Pass for some images. Here's the south side of the Pass, looking to the SW, with a spur of the Mosquito Range in the distance. South Park is below...
Pausing the KS closer to the Mosquito Range peaks. Here's 13,370ft. Mt. Guyot. Once climbed it by ascending the ridge on the right.
Nearby is the higher 13,684ft. Bald Mountain. Was a little artsy here and went low for the pic...
Down the road several miles is a good view of 13,822ft. Mt. Silverheels. There's an interesting story how this peak was named. Can find an account here: http://everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=1788771
From here, headed to a gourmet lunch at the lonely Jefferson Market, in Jefferson (Pop 35?). BUT, along the way, a herd of pronghorn antelope finding the first shoots of green grass...
And why not a map of the preceding. Denver is to the upper right...
