I have a 2014 RT. There is about 1-2 inches of play at the top of the windshield when it is fully up. I've looked for the obvious such as missing hardware at the lift mechanism. It's not really a problem since the wind resistance when riding will prevent it from moving. I guess I'm just a perfectionist. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Never mind, I was answering a question not asked. Just re-read the post and realized you weren't referring to the shape of the stock windshield, but that it seems loose when fully extended. I apologize for the error.

Let me re-phrase my question from the previous week. The windshield on my RT has 1-2 inches of play in the up position. There does not appear to be a problem with the linkage. Is this normal? Thanks in advance and ride safe.

What do you mean by "play"? Are you saying at full up you can grab it and pull it up and down by 1 to 2 inches? There is some flex range if pressure is added however, I've never experienced that much from air pressure alone. And certainly not in a forward motion.

Check out the upper support arms. They can break at the top but not be visible. Observe the upper portion as you 'lift' the windshield forward. Good luck.
