Tug maintenance done, ready to mate up with tub

Every three years I split the rig to facilitate maintenance and a thorough cleaning. It took a few weeks to find and remove 25,000 miles of desiccated bugs from all the nooks and crannies on Glenlivet’s sidecar, touch up all the chips from stone hits, and apply several coats of paint sealer.

The tug (2012 GSA) has all new fluids and filters, plus a new rear tire. One more coat of paint sealer and it will be ready to mate back up to the tub. With weekend temps hitting 20F below and windchill reaching minus 45 being inside a heated shop sounds like the way to go
