Has anyone used a 150/70/17 rear tire on a late model GS with alloy rims? Stock size is 14/80/17
I would like to try some Shinko 705 tires and that's the closest they offer in a tubeless size and their 140/80/17 is a tube type.

Not to answer your question exactly, we run the 150/70-17 Shinko 705 rear tires on our G310GS bikes. I like them.
