Team HSV managed to elicit four other Intrepid Riders to our January Top Hat R2E. I'm disappointed more Birmingham locals decided it was too cold or they were too busy or whatever it was to avoid this outing {that was, after all, the reason for choosing this location nearer metro B'ham}. The HSV crewe ended up riding around 140 miles roundtrip... Jim McC was so enthused over the past week about BBQ, that he rode the extra 110 miles north to the Blue Plate Cafe to join the HSV riders {with temps at or below freezing when he left home}! When the group headed south on US-231, the temps had warmed to about 40F, and after lunch, with the bright sun it was nearly 50! All in all, we enjoyed some hot coffee & good food, good conversation, and chit-chat about future '22 "Second Saturday" Rides. I'm trying to get some enthusiasm within the AlaBeemer ranks - Phil & Jim are certainly on the same wavelength... I'll try to come up with another fresh idea for Feb 12th. Let's hope there will be no white precipitation (like last Monday)...

Cheers Y'all from Pam & Tom, Allen, Jim, Phil & Karen
