safety gear

I found a nice piece of safety gear. It's a large LED. You wear it like a vest with the LED on your back and fiber optic tubes over your shoulders so it is lit up from all angles. It's made for bicyclist and runners. When worn over an Aerostich Darien jacket the strap won't latch on the xl size but it shouldn't matter since you're not pedaling or running. It has different color modes and flashing patterns but the steady red mode is probably the only legal one when riding. The flashing modes would be good if you are stopped along the road. The website is Noxgear.Com. The device is called a Tracer 2 360. It's powered by a USB rechargeable battery.Right now it is half off and cost about $50.>>

It's a good product. I wear one running.
You have to be careful with the fiber optics if they get cut, bent, damaged then they do not work anymore.
Actually, just received an email yesterday regarding use in cold temperatures. Bending the lights may damage them.
