"ECU flash" product ?

Has anybody here heard about an "ECU flash" product for the R1200 bikes? I posted a pic of my '05 R1200ST on a FB page and a guy msg'd me that he is a dealer for this product. He want's $800 for it.

Long list of supposed benefits, wonder if anyone has tried it.

TIA.

If it were my bike I’d start with a trip to the dealer to have the ECU and ABS modules updated to the latest firmware from BMW, then spend some time riding the bike and assessing what issues you feel are present and how to best address them. The electronics on 2005 bikes are markedly simpler than the newest bikes so there’s already a limit to how much effect an aftermarket flash would have. $800 would go a long way toward other farkles that might have a bigger impact upon your enjoyment of the bike.

Best,
DeVern
