    MotoBatt battery for 2018 R1200GS?

I plan on doing a preemptive battery replacement on my 2018GS in preparation for a 4-week excursion where battery trouble would be a major problem. The battery Iím looking at is the one MotoBatt recommends for the R12GS: MBTZ14S (https://www.motobatt.us/MBTZ14S-Motobatt-Battery).

Has anyone tried one in a GS?

I have looked at Yuasa but they donít show a GS fitment beyond 2017, and I have read good reports on the MotoBatt batteries.

    Thx,

While not 1200GS', I've got them in 3 G650GS'. The oldest one is 4+ years and still cranks nicely, they are kept on tenders when not on the road. I say go for it..

I've been using Motobatt in my '12 R1200RT. I get 4 years/40,000 kms out of one. I ride every day so don't usually put the tender on until winter hibernation. May not be unique to Motobatt, but when they are done, they seem to give lots of warning, so never been stranded by a dead battery. I'd be interested in the lithium/agm hybrid batteries by Motobatt.

I have one in my 2015 R1200GS and have had several other MotoBatt batteries in previous bikes and IMO, they are the best AGM batteries on the market.
