I just bought a tool bag for a K series bike off e-bay and this was in the bag. I have never seen one like this before, they are chained together. The spacing indicates it may do something with dual callipers?

I think (vague memory) that they are used to remove the radio from a K1100LT and similar equipped bikes.

Many radios used that system.

thanks for the update. I had visions of something to hold the calipers while suspended in removing front wheel. Guess it goes in the misc metal container under my bench unless someone could use.

thanks,
