'76 R75/6 Master Cylinder

I rebuilt the master cylinder in 2013 as part of a complete overhaul. Brakes have worked fine since and I have changed the fluid every couple years.I went to take a ride this weekend and all of the fluid had leaked out. Paint on the frame pealed, engine and floor under wet with fluid. Strange that it would happen all of a sudden like that. I guess another rebuild is on the project list.

In my opinion this would be the perfect time to convert that bike to a handlebar mounted front master cylinder.

That would be my opinion as well. Maybe a winter project. I have read a couple threads on that conversion and just wasn’t sure I wanted to get into the amount of work involved. For the bit that I ride, I have a (new to me) Kawasaki W650 that I am enjoying for the rest of this year. I guess I’ll look into the handlebar conversion some more. Thanks for the feedback.
