The BMW MOA and the the BMW Performance Center's US Rider Academy have partnered to bring you a unique rider training opportunity - the Smoky Mountain Training Tour!
The Smoky Mountain Training Tour is the best of both worlds - a motorcycle tour through epic twisty roads along with expert instruction at each stop from the premier training group at the BMW Performance Center. Oh, and you get to ride the latest BMW motorcycles! It is the ultimate test ride!
On the Smoky Mountain Training Tour, you'll cover three states (South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee) while enjoying the feel of a BMW motorcycle. The tour includes a visit to the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum, complete with over 300 running classic motorcycles, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Moonshiner 28, and the Tail of the Dragon!
Three instructors from the BMW Performance Center will join the tour, allowing for very personalized training opportunities at each rest stop. Instructors will debrief participants on observations from the previous section along with techniques to utilize in the next section of the tour.
Tour Schedule
Saturday, October 23, 2021 - Arrive at South Carolina's Greenville Marriott. Group dinner and tour kick-off. (Hotel and meals included)
Sunday, October 24, 2021 - Transfer to BMW Performance Center in Greer, SC (transportation provided). Tour departs at 8:30 am. Day one highlights include Caesar's Head Visitor Center, lunch in Cashiers, North Carolina, Franklin, North Carolina, Nantahala Visitor's Center, Tail of the Dragon, and overnight accommodations at the Historic Tapoco Lodge with dinner served beside the river.
Monday, October 25, 2021 - We'll leave Tapoco Lodge by 8:30 am and visit the Fontana Dam Visitor's Center, Maggie Valley, Wheels Through Time, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and arrive at the BMW Performance Center by 5:30 pm. Transportation will be provided to the Greenville Marriott for the final night's lodging and wrap-up dinner.

Pricing
The Smoky Mountain Tour is all-inclusive for MOA members. Tour pricing includes all instruction, use of the BMW Performance Center's fleet of BMW motorcycles, transfer to/from the BMW Performance Center, three nights of private lodging along with dinner on October 23, and all meals on October 24 and 25. Snacks are included on tour days along with fuel and entry fees to any attractions. If you arrive with a helmet and gear, we'll take care of the rest. Pricing for the all-inclusive tour is $2,795 per participant.
