Euro MotoElectrics (EME) - Good Customer Service!

I would like to thank publicly the people at Euro Motoelectrics for taking the time to listen to my problem with a product purchased from them as well as reaching an equitable solution to the problem.

As to the product, it's limited source, and age of the maker, I could have gotten a one off bad day unit. I am not going to list it as I don't want sour EME's sales, as it is not their fault. Also, I really don't know if the problem I had has been addressed and corrected. The person making the product is making a part NLA by BMW and as far as I know is NLA other places. I don't want to sour his business if he has indeed corrected his problem. Mistakes happen and while it was inconvenient, it is not the end of the world.

EME stepped up to the plate to make me whole. Thank you. St.

Thanks for the update about your customer service experience...always good to here! :thumb

I'm going to update the title for a little more clarity.

I also have to say the EME customer service is second to none. Their prices are lower that most (reasonable) and returns are easy. I live in Denver so I use them a lot. Great parts supplier of older BMW machines.

Me Too - Excellent EME Experience

I too, have had excellent experiences with EME. But I can also say the same about every other Airhead vendor I have used so far. IMHO, as a community we are Blessed with vendors and repair specialists for our Airheads. Would not hesitate to order again from EME.

I try to buy all my K75 parts from EME. Just put this fuel injector cover from EME on the bike yesterday.

Me too!

I'll chime in here with a "me too". Norm and company have been really easy to deal with, have almost everything I have needed so far for my R100RS restoration project (what they don't have, Max usually does), and are consistently good communicators and I will also add, very good about combining orders and doing shipping charge refunds (store credit) where they see an opportunity.

Excellent service
I as well, excellent customer service and my go-to parts people for my R1100s oilhead

+1
I have made many EME purchases over the years. One time, order was incorrect. EME made it correct immediately, and told me to keep the incorrect parts. Best customer service I’ve experienced recently,

They have been my "go to" for most of the parts I've needed for my 85 R80 rebuild. I could not recommend them more. I had an oil pump show up with a dent on the edge, sent them a photo and they rushed a replacement to me no questions. Old school customer service for old school customers.

EME is best especially for the older bikes. The newer the bike the fewer the parts, but they do have some parts for the current bikes as well (think basic maintenance). The Hexhead Section includes bikes up through the R1250. And yes, their customer service is top notch.

I spend many $K with EME every month. Any problems with product quality or shipping are always corrected ASAP.

And they keep expanding both the years and parts covered...1951 R25 piston/ring AND third over...they had one!!!

I’ll add to this by saying I’ve had great service from EME. I recently ordered a dipstick - “B” and was sent one with a temperature gauge by mistake. A phone call and the correct one was shipped that day along with a return shipping label. Literally every business makes mistakes, it’s how they correct them that counts.

I also ordered a set of ignition cables from EME. From the picture and description I thought they were made by the same company that provided them to BMW. When I got them I was slightly disappointed to see that they’re a close reproduction, but not the same as stock.

Along those lines I bought some gaskets from a dealer in England, they certainly weren’t OEM and of poor quality. It wasn’t worth it to send back for a refund.

In both cases I learned when ordering a part that I want to be OEM I’m going to stick with Max BMW. Ive also learned it’s worthwhile to shop around a little.

I just placed my latest order for some unique airhead parts. All in stock, all priced reasonably. I expect to get them by Thursday. Always have experienced very good CS a from EME.
