Helping friend with ‘03 K1200RS. The stock windshield will not stay down. It can be pushed down and spring resistance can be felt. When released, it springs back up to almost full height. Previous owner said this problem started after tip over. Currently there is no visible damage anywhere on the bike. Don’t know if parts were replaced. Spring action feels like spring action on similar RS, windshield just won’t stay down. Does anyone know if there is an over-center mechanism that keeps the windshield down?
