I've only had it a couple of months now. I've seen mention of "surging" in some threads here and elsewhere, mostly old threads, and am curious about this and what people think the "best" solution is.
I've noticed that indeed, at low speeds, it's hard to keep a nice steady push. If I shift up a gear more than I usually would select, it's a little better, but it's a little annoying having it surge. Nothing exceptionally annoying, but definitely not as nice to ride around town as, for example, my old '79 Yamaha XS1100.
I've seen mention of both "Teclusion" and also "af-xied" units. Sounds like these do some voodoo to change the fuel mixture at low speeds?
Certainly have seen mixed impressions of these. Are these my best option?
(I did just have the valve adjustment done; no perceptible change in "surging")
