Returned today to the BMW MOA. Away for the last two years. Just purchased today a new 2021 R1250RT in Manhattan Metallic. This is my 4th BMW bike. First was a R1200RT, next was a K1600GTL, and then a K1600B. The R1250RT is parked next to my 2019 Harley Heritage Classic. Looking forward to the rapidly approaching cooler riding season here in AZ. It never hurts to have options out in the garage for 2-wheeled Touring. U get to decide which bike is best suitable for any/all events. I've always been a Beemer guy when all's said & done. Still riding my first one - '75 R90S. But we do live in a Free Country I believe, thus we all can do our own thing.
FWIW, Team-HSV both graduated from ASU back in '83 {we just didn't know each other then!}. Happy Travels on your machines. We're CoddiWompling our way across the USA this summer. Got back from Left Coast last month. Head off toward Maine after Labor Day...
