I searched for several years for the elusive "solo" seat (AKA "sport" seat) to replace the one that came on My 87 K75s;

I finally found one on eBay. However, it was very orange. The orange saddle may have looked good on the Avus black K75; The prominent orange flashers, fork reflectors…., if I replaced the red reflectors on the bags with orange, the orange seat would be okay. I have a re-cover for the "Solo / Sport" seat, in the black that I wanted, but found this info on marine upholstery paint;

SEM Products provides all your paint needs, prep to detailing, for Vinyl, Leather, and Plastic materials. The original saddle was black, so, I painted.

I’m posting because I never would have thought that you could paint your seat. This stuff really works!
Here’s some shots of how it turned out;
