Parking light replacement 05 RT

All i can go by is my experience. I replaced the parking lights on a 2009 K1300GT with amber LED and they worked without setting off any CANBUS warning. Unfortunately they only lasted 6 months before they both blew out. I have tried replacing those same little bulbs with LED on a car and my Road Glide. They always burn out after a few months and start flickering. Maybe it was the kind i was using, who knows. I finally gave up.

My '04 uses any "191" or "194"-type bulb, like yours, and I changed it to a LED - the first try used multiple segments, and they died one-by-one... I presently have a "dome" style in there, and it seems to be doing fine. And it's appreciably whiter than a filament bulb is.
I doubt that a CAN-bus would get upset by the lower current draw.

My LED is an Osram/Sylvania/Zevo "Super Bright LED", p/n on the top right of the blister pack (2 bulbs per) says 194, also compatible with 168/2825; UPC # 4059089319189.
Ratings: 12.8 V, 1.0 W (therefore 78 mA at this voltage), and 6000 K (so it's Very white).
