New tires for my 1996 K1100LT

I have been very pleased with the Bridgestone T30 radials on my K1100LT. It's time for a new tire on the rear. I have discovered Bridgestone no longer offers that tire in size 140/80/17. Where to go now? I want to continue to use radials on my bike, but that narrow rear wheel means the options have become limited or maybe non-existent. Ideas?

Can you go to a 150/70-17? Or go with the K1100RS/R1100RT 18" rear wheel - it's an inch wider. I did that on my last one, but forget what exactly was involved.

I haven't tried to fit a 150/70/17. It seems the best way forward is to use the wheel from the RS model.
