Impact Pads Difficult to Insert

My D3O impact pads have become sticky and therefore very difficult to insert back into my Klim Latitude suit after it has been washed. Does anyone have any suggestions for a dry lubricant or an insertion technique that will reduce the effort and aggravation??

Sticky? that's a new one! I have found those D30's can take a lot of rollng and bending- especially when warm (Put in the sun). Re: sticky...maybe wash them by hand with gentle soap is it sweat-goo?

I'd think something like baby powder would work.

I've been able to reduce the "stickiness" of some plastics by covering by them in baking soda for a few days.

D30 seems to have a lifespan of just a few years, so you might want to start looking for replacements.
