Helmet Comm Devices and Pacemakers

DANIMAL

I just recently had a pacemaker put in and waiting the three weeks before I can get on the bike. Does anyone have any experience with pacemakers and Helmet communication devices? The manufacturer recommends 6” between the device and the pacemaker. From my measurements it’s damn close. Any advice from others out there? Any advice would be appreciated.

Can you put your communicator on the right side of the helmet? I think that would work with my Sena 20S and its separate boom mike if I used the cruise control to free up my throttle hand.

My Sena is already mounted kind of far back on the C3 Pro in order to clear the sunshield mechanism, looks like 6" would land on my collar bone.

Thanks, I thought of that and will try that.

A friend I ride with has a Sena 10S mounted on the right side of his helmet and has a Pacemaker/defibrillator with no issues over 3 years.
