f700gs tank bag Q pls

the Wizard of Oz
I can't remember whether there's any place under the front of the f700 gs saddle to loop the rear strap of many "traditional" tank bags. But If I recall correctly, you can't really use "old fashioned" loop-it-around-the-frame type connectors. I'm out of the country and my wife is looking for a tank bag. Are we limited to the BMW bag? I had an f7gs some years ago and in my memory, it was tricky.
thx!
