2021 R1250 RT - what's an average range at lower speeds?

I'm looking to get a 2021 R1250RT flying up from FL, buying it, then riding back to Florida.

Is 250 miles a safe range to hope for before filling up?

I'm used to my 2016 R1200 GSA and that 7.9 gallon tank on it so was trying to guess where I'd need to be looking for fuel.
I'll be riding from MD down Skyline Drive (Shenandoah Nat'l Park) and then down the Blue Ridge Parkway so I'll need to plan my fuel stops as there isn't any fuel right on the route.

I figured riding those road would give me the ability to vary my speed a lot to help break in the engine during the first 600 miles to Asheville where I'll get my first service done.

Thanks in advance...

That sounds like a fine trip! Welcome to the Forums! Speed limit on Skyline Drive is 35mph and on the BRP it's 45mph. There is some speed enforcement on those roads and it's heavy around Roanoke, VA during commuter hours when the BRP is used as a commuter route.

Your plan to stop in Asheville is a good one. The service department there is top-notch!

Have fun!
