'84 forks damper assembly - what gets "rebuilt"?

I have my '84 forks apart and will be doing the Racetech valve emulator upgrade. Are there any parts of the damper assembly that are considered "wear items" and should be replaced while I'm in there?

I did the RaceTech conversion on my 86 R80 a few years back. It has the Brembo forks which I think are different than yours, but I could hardly find anything to mess with inside them. The only replaceable parts I could find were the seals and a plastic slider which went in just below the seals. Yours may well be surprisingly devoid of replaceable parts. You may want to search this forum for the post I did on the installation as RaceTech's instructions were spread across several documents and not always clear.

Thanks. I found the thread and will read it after dinner.

EDIT: Thanks Steve for the reminder. I will stick with Brook's site, which I had already been reading.
