K1200 bar risers

I recently sold my 2001 r1100rt and replaced it with a 2003 k1200gt. I need to get bar risers for it, as it is an aggressive riding position and I have T rex arms. I really need about 3” of rise. Any suggestions? I have found a bunch of different styles that say they will fit my bike, but quite obviously will not.

Welcome to the forum!
I don’t know bike specific (handlebar or “clip-on”) but chances are that ROX Risers will have something that will work. You will probably need some dimensions to check.

Lots of K12GT accessories here, including Verholen risers: http://pirateslair.net/Product.htm

and here-just do “shop by model” for K1200RS/GT and scroll through the listings. They have the RCU risers, which are a bit less $$: https://www.shopbmwmotorcycle.com/collections/bmw-k1200rs-gt?page=1

But, if you need a large amount of rise—like 3”—your best option may be this, along with a handlebar bend that suits you: https://www.shopbmwmotorcycle.com/products/lsl-k1200rs-superbike-handlebar-kit
I am not sure if they are still available, tho.

DeVern

Edit: the LSL kits are also shown on Spiegler’s site, which is convenient since you’ll need longer brake and clutch lines: https://spieglerusa.com/catalog/category/view/id/60
And LSL still shows them on their website so quite likely still available: https://www.lsl-online.nl/en/bmw-k-1200-rs-1997-2000.html

thats a new one...first time i have heard the riding position on a K12GT called "aggressive"...:D

An understandable take when coming from an RT. An S1000RR rider might call the GT riding position too Harley-like to be tolerable. :D

Best,
