    TFT Question

When I refill the gas tank on my 2020 R1250GSA, I reset the trip and range displays to zero. The trip2 indicator never resets. Any hints?
When you come to a fork in the road, take it.

I think you have to reset just like trip1 - select it in the display, and then the same procedure as resetting trip 1.

Correct .... you scroll down 2 levels and then over to bike computer and then down to reset then back up one level and over right again to the trip 2 and the tab down to reset. It is a real pain in the butt!

You can always set it to auto-reset, where it resets every time the bike is stopped and restarted, tho I’ve never personally seen any usefulness in that setting…

I really like the trip settings on my RT vs the GS with TFT. On the RT I have 3 trip meters and the 3rd one records the day's mileage and resets overnight. That way I can use #1 for fuel fill ups #2 for my total trip and then the auto one to know the miles I traveled that day. On the TFT you only get 2 and while I believe you can use the GPS trip setting that is even more of a pain.

It looks like the same Trip 1, Trip 2 and Auto Trip page 113 and 125 of the manual. https://manuals.bmw-motorrad.com/man...RM_0720_01.pdf

The following is for the USA https://manuals.bmw-motorrad.com/man...RM_0720_07.pdf pages 106 and 117.

I just got my 2021 RT. Choices are On Board Computer (which I believe is Trip 1) and Trip Computer (which I believe is Trip 2). Don't see Auto Trip anywhere. Still learning the menu system, pretty overwhelming at first.

"Trip Computer" can be set to "automatic reset" and it will act like a daily auto trip meter.

Yes but then you are left with only one other trip computer.

The pre-TFT RT has 3 trip computers.
