The R1200GS was just to big. I loved the F700GS was my best bike. Gwtting the 40th F750GS. I hope to ride that to the MOA. Anyone liking the F750GS here, any pictures ? :wave

My shortlist is F750 GS, Wee-strom, Tiger 900. R1250 GSA (low) is great but way more bike than I need, and getting to be more bike than I can handle when stopped. Two are available factory lowered, one can be lowered with aftermarket parts.

Heather (my future wife) LOVES her F750GS. It’s a low model and has been so reliable and fun and it sounds great with the Resonator delete and Akra pipe..not too loud but sounds better than my R1200GS.

I linked above to her build thread + playlist of ‘farkles’ so if you are looking for things to add to your new bike, this is the thread. We’ll eventually swap out the suspension but for now, her bike is done and we’re just riding it!

Your F750GS channel is awesome, Thanks for all the work. Well you be at Great Falls? Richard

I love my 2021 F750GS. Have a 2013 R1200GS LC also, but it's such a big old pig (I'm 5'9, 31 inseam). The F750 is so easy to roll around and I am almost flat-footed at lights. On the 1200 I am on the balls of my feet.

Now that the F750 has all the goodies, there is no need for the bigger bike unless you do a lot of two-up touring. My F750 is a Premium with the gorgeous TFT, Cruise, ESA, etc. I find it has plenty of power also. It won't yank the bars out of your hands like a 1200 LC but it's got good midrange punch and is really smooth, with good character. The handling is superb. It will walk away from the bigger bike in tight to medium speed twisties and holds a line like it is on rails.

The Vario bags from the GS go right on the smaller bike. The BMW soft tailbag goes on. The NAV goes on.. Lol, I didn't need to spend any money on farkles yet, but at some point I might get a taller windscreen. The short one is awesome in our hot weather here in Southern AZ for now.

Thanks! I will but am flying in. It's a couple thousand miles each and I really don't want to cannonball run out and back and miss all of the great sights so I'll just be flying in. Look for the tall guy holding a BIG camera all week. :)
