My buddy Leo Stanton runs Lesters on his very nice /6.

My R90 center parked with 2 Airheads running Lesters. Pretty common back in the day. Still common today. I like spoked wheels, just thinking of building something a little different.

The fairing/windshield is a Hugon. Made in France I believe. Something a little different. Leo told me it works really well.
Lookin’ thru my junk pile found this Lester rear wheel.

As usual this wheel has had the valve stem drilled out to run tubeless. I’ll go back to the junk pile and do a little more lookin’. The drive ring has been installed with bolts not brads. I’ve done that to oem BMW wheels. This wheel probably won’t make the cut for the build I’m thinking about. Might use this wheel for bike build to run the backroads in the Ozark hills and Ouachita Mountains.
Leo called me I need U to run up to pick up a Norton and some motorcycle parts that go with it. It’s in Ann Arbor, Michigan. What? It’s cold, dark, dreary; not to mention Covid-19. Barry, we need U to go. OK Leo OK. Road Trip.
Up to Michigan and found the owner and bike. He told me: I’m getting older, time to down size. Pretty much the norm.

Brit bikes are cool. Glad I’ve resisted the bug. Picked up a lot of parts and boxes of parts. Filled up the van.

Said he bought for his son to ride. Nice Dad.
Nortons and BMWs. Got to love it.
10-4 :clap:groovy
That Triumph reminds me of my first bike. Never got rid of the bug after it!
I bought my 1975 Norton in 1978 I am the second owner. It was also my first motorcycle.
