The Great Race

I've been at this event a couple of times. It's a bit of a hoot. It's old time gearheads trying to keep the proper pace...and their cars operating.
An aquaintance of mine has done this for years. He owns a 1936 Ford Tudor. I've ridden in it, and even restored...it's still a 1936 Ford. I'll
be there went it comes to Peoria on June 24th. If you get a chance, it's a rolling museum, and most of the folks are pretty friendly.
