Tire Changing tools and techniques

Kool Aid Dispenser!
How hard is it to mount and balance tires? What tools are required, bead breaker, tire irons, rims strips, balancer? I would like to get the appropriate tools, best value for the money of course, as I'm tired of getting raped by the dealer as their prices seem a little expensive, not to mention what they want for the tires when I can buy them SO much cheaper.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

That is why I decided to get some tools and learn to do my own.

50+ tires later, and here is what I learned:

Hope this helps?
