I was wondering if anyone has tried this camera and what they thought. It looks rugged enough that it might be rugged enough to stand up to my environment.

Amazon reviews are very mixed. I like the Canon D10 for waterproof. Glove friendly too.

Hi Tom, the D10 is still on my list and it seems that in our area Hunt Photo is the only place where the bulk of the rugged duty cameras can be seen. One of the benefits to staying with a Canon is software that is compatible with the camera I already have-S51s. Thanks for the Input. Gary

Hunt is worth the ride, Gary. Very helpful people, the type of camera place you used to have on Bromfield St. in downtown Boston.

It looks like Melrose is the main store-was thinking of trying Providence for somewhat more convenience. Any thoughts on the locations Tom?
