BeeCee Beemers Nakusp Rally

As my 2014 GSA was in the shop awaiting parts I rode my KTM 690 to the BeeCee Beemers rally in Nakusp, B.C. Slocan Lake was on the way. Beautiful area. Great rally, nice folks! Definitely worth a repeat next year with the GSA.

I was there for my tenth time this year. Had to drive out in my truck due to a badly sprained ankle, but had a good time anyway. It is a great rally in a great location for riding.

Beautiful

Wow! I need to go to this next year. Would be a great ride with wonderful scenery!

It's really great to see posts from folks who have attended our Nakusp rally and enjoyed all the area has to offer. I was the rally chair for the Bee Cee Beemers from 2009 to 2015 when I had to step down for health reasons. I've attended lots of rallies in the western regions and still find the low key and laid back feel of the Hotsprings Rally really appealing. That location was originally found by Derrick Ward and he started many of the traditions we still have today. I took over in '09 and kept the ball rolling along with a few new ideas of my own. The bike parade down Broadway and then the Senior's sidecar rides have been going on for 16 years now and we donate rally proceeds to local and other charities every year. It's just a great tradition now and a great rally. The fact that you car ride in there from any direction and experience some of the best roads and scenery in the province doesn't hurt either!

Glad to hear others enjoy it as much as I do!
